Your holiday destination is called "Monterosa Ski", a ski resort covering
three valleys, with 36 ski lifts and 180 kilometres of piste, most of
which are equipped with snow cannons. On these slopes skiers will find
many mountain restaurants, where they can have a rest and savour local
specialities. Thanks to a confortable skibus in less then 5 minutes you can join the resort "Monterosaski".
That's not just the beginning of a skiing day, but also the start of a fabulous
journey on skis at the foot of the Alps' highest mountains. If
you are a beginner or if you want to improve your technique, you
can count on the local ski instructors' experience. Those who
like off-piste skiing and freeride have the opportunity, accompanied
by a mountain guide, to ski down breathtaking gullies or to enjoy
the descent among crevasses and through thin mountain woods. In
the evening you can ski back to the door of the heated storeroom
for your equipment. Your day ends in a cheerful atmosphere; everyone
enjoys a good drink or a cup of "caffé alla valdostana" (coffee
prepared according to a typical recipe from the Aosta-Valley),
